This is something totally new to me...what a spectacle! When I was young I didn't know cacti had flowers...so it was quite a shock when we moved to Arizona and saw the desert bloom in the spring!
Living in Holland I had no idea about cacti. But in California I discovered how beautiful they can be. I've never seen the rat tail cactus though -thanks for sharing!
