I guess I've seen these plants before, but never flowering... only another one very similar, but the flower was completely purple-reddish, and it smelled awful. I have seen this one before and if I remember correctly it does not smell very nice in order to attract flies to pollenate it?
these are gorgeous blooms. I have never grown these types. they are very intriguing and look like they come from outer space.
