Trichocereus sp.

Et voilá!
The bottom shot was taken under the sunset light at 8pm. Two hours later I took the top one.

Wow, JM these photos are just stunning. That top blossom is sheer perfection. I'm always amazed at how large the blooms are in comparison to the actual plant. Thanks for the reminder to check these out.

amazing. these beautiful flowers live for such a short time and are easy to miss them if you are not watching closely. It looks like the flower i posted on May 15 except mine was pink and yours is white. I think they both look like the stamens are tiny dancers on pinheads. I think of Elton John singing "Tiny Dancer . . ."

I especially love seeing photos of flowering succulents since we don't see them growing in nature in the northeastern U.S. The first photo looks like that of an artificial flower. Stunning photography.

wonderful. I posted mine some time ago but mine was pink. the flower only last an hour or two, such a short life.
